PositionField Sales Representative I – Phoenix area
What You’ll Be Doing- Define critical markets and new customers in the assigned sales territory (Phoenix area).
- Plan sales strategies and develop key relationships with customers, peers, and suppliers.
- Ensure customer satisfaction.
- Prepare comprehensive quarterly reports with implementations on sales growth.
- Work alongside engineers and designers to provide tailored solutions to customers.
- Participate in a sales compensation plan with variable OTE tied to specific sales goals.
- 5-7 years of field sales experience; bachelor’s degree preferred.
- In‑depth understanding of the electronic components industry.
- Knowledge of the assigned market/territory (e.g., customers, competition); recent industry experience is preferred.
- Ability to promote and sell value‑add, supply‑chain, and full life‑cycle programs offered by Arrow.
- Ability to develop strategic plans for all assigned accounts, sell and market the full set of Arrow offerings, incorporating in‑depth knowledge of Arrow’s key supplier lines.
- Proven ability to articulate complex strategies and execute on them.
- Extensive understanding of pricing programs and models within the electronics industry.
- Experience interacting with vendors and customers in a technical and engineering environment.
- Ability to prepare comprehensive internal quarterly business reviews (iQ ), presenting strategic plans and implementation steps to grow sales, demand creation, and improve customer service, and lead regular QBRs with major customers to unlock additional sales opportunities.
- Proficiency with sales tracking systems, , Oracle.
- Innovative self‑starter who is willing to challenge the status quo.
- This position is a 60/40 split; the compensation posted is an OTE number that includes the commission.
1 day per week in the Phoenix office.
