The Salesperson is a full‑time, on‑site role based at Auto Nation Subaru Scottsdale, located in Phoenix, AZ. This role is responsible for greeting customers, understanding their vehicle needs, and presenting suitable Subaru and pre‑owned inventory options. Day‑to‑day tasks include conducting test drives, explaining vehicle features and pricing, preparing sales proposals, and guiding customers through financing and purchase processes. The Salesperson will follow up with leads, maintain accurate customer records, and collaborate with service and finance teams to ensure a seamless experience.
The role also involves meeting sales targets, staying current on product knowledge and promotions, and upholding company policies and ethical standards in all interactions.
- Demonstrated customer service and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with a diverse range of customers.
- Sales and negotiation abilities, including experience closing deals, handling objections, and working toward performance goals or quotas.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to clearly present vehicle features, pricing, and financing options.
- Basic computer and CRM proficiency, including entering customer data, managing leads, and using dealership systems.

- Ability to work on‑site, including evenings and weekends as needed, in a fast‑paced retail environment.
- Previous retail or automotive sales experience is beneficial but not required; a high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record and ability to conduct test drives safely.
