The Senior Distributor Sales Manager grows Sierra Nevada sales and market share by leading our wholesaler management efforts and developing our sales teams. They work with their wholesaler(s) and Sierra Nevada national account team to execute in off and on premise accounts according to Sierra Nevada standards and expectations.

To be considered for this role, you must reside within the market you support. Eligible locations include:
Greater Phoenix Area.
- Manage assigned wholesalers in your area with the respective sales teams with the goal of increasing our sales and market share
- Manage, lead, motivate and develop employees including hiring, performance management, training and development opportunities, and employee relations
- Provide exceptional service with the goal of becoming their preferred supplier
- Maintain proactive, solution‑oriented communications with supervisors, sales team and wholesalers
- Develop, deliver, execute and participate in monthly and annual planning meetings for assigned wholesalers and lead the execution of said Annual Business Plans
- Provide weekly written recaps to wholesalers and SNBC team of business results, opportunities and assigned accountabilities/tasks
- Responsible for budgets, including co‑op dollars, writing incentives and approving bill‑backs
- Assist in the ‘Due Diligence’ Process in regards to the wholesaler transition process
- Schedule and conduct Coaching Days and effectively communicate both verbally and in writing through KARMA the recaps with an emphasis on business objectives and skill selling objectives
- Grow team’s development and utilization around selling skills to drive key sales objectives
- Operate effectively within the brewery and budgetary guidelines
- Works with leadership to ensure that team reports and pricing communication are distributed within the three tiers – SNBC, our chains, and our wholesalers
- Utilize sales tools (KARMA, VIP, Nielsen, Power BI, etc.) effectively
- Bachelor’s Degree or any combination of education and/or experience from which comparable knowledge, skills, and abilities have been achieved required
- 5 years wholesaler or supplier management experience required
- 3 years successful background working in a team environment and managing people preferred
- In‑depth knowledge of state and federal liquor laws required
- Demonstrated ability to consistently achieve company targets, including volume, distribution, and profitability
- Strong organization and time management skills with commitment to results
- Steward of Sierra Nevada Brewing Co.’s history, culture and products as a brand ambassador
- Excellent personnel management skills, including motivational skills and leading with a positive attitude to achieve results
- Continuous desire to learn and challenge yourself and other team members professionally
- Successfully interact with distributors to effectively sell in/execute sales programs and initiatives
- Driver’s License free of any major moving violations in the last three years upon hire required
- You must be at least 21 years of age to perform the duties of this position for Sierra Nevada Brewing Co.
