OverviewThe Hematology Oncology Account Specialist engages hematologists and other key oncology customers within the assigned geographic region to support the launch of our Multiple Myeloma bispecific antibody. The role focuses on delivering clinically focused selling messages to grow brand share and revenue while consistently meeting product goals.
Key Responsibilities- Engage hematologists and oncology customers to deliver product information and support the Multiple Myeloma bispecific antibody launch.
- Collaborate with Nurse Educators, Key Account Managers, Reimbursement and Access Specialists, Regional Science Managers, and other Oncology Account Specialists to proactively resolve customer needs, identify market dynamics, and develop strategies supporting corporate objectives.
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with designated accounts and specialists.
- Execute market profiling activities to understand regional and local health‑care delivery, influencers, and payer systems.
- Identify business opportunities within assigned accounts and coordinate contracting support with the Regeneron Oncology account team.
- Ensure compliance with all regulations, company policies, and procedures governing the promotion of pharmaceutical and biologic products.
- Advanced, clinically based and account‑based selling skills.
- Proven, consistent sales performance in complex oncology markets with diverse customer segments.
- Strong track record of success with product launches.
- Analytical, problem‑solving, and planning skills as a strong account manager.
- Bachelor’s degree;
Master’s degree or additional advanced education or certifications is a plus. - Minimum 5 years of successful experience in oncology sales, with a preference for hematology oncology.
- Buyer‑and‑bill experience with biologics required.
- Minimum 3 years of experience working with key thought leaders or high‑influence customers in group practices, academic hospitals, or key institutions.
- Current account management experience calling on large oncology group practices and/or integrated delivery networks.
- Strong understanding of the hematology oncology therapeutic area and the current oncology marketplace.
- Ability to travel and cover large geographic territories.
Annually $158,950 – $220,000. (This is the accurate range for this position.)
