SUMMARY

Selling products for distributor to business and industrial establishments or individuals at customer's place of business.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Drives daily within assigned sales territory.
  • Makes outbound lead follows‑up calls to potential and existing customers by telephone and e‑mail to qualify leads and sell products and services.
  • Handles inbound sales lead calls to convert calls into sales.
  • Overcomes technical and business objections of prospective customers.
  • Emphasizes salable features, quotes prices and credit terms, and prepares sales orders for orders obtained.
  • Estimates date of delivery to customer.
  • Coordinates customer training.
  • Builds and maintains customers’ relationships.
  • Prepares reports of business transactions.
  • Enters new customer data and other sales data for current customers into CRM.
  • Works with inside sales representatives to keep account activities up to date.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Associate’s Degree (AA) or equivalent from a two‑year college or technical school, or six months to one year related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
