Seasonal Sales Representative
Brite Nites Phoenix, Arizona, United States
About this positionBrite Nites is a nationally recognized leader in custom holiday and year-round lighting design. Since 1993, we've brought spaces to life with immersive lighting experiences for high-end residential and commercial clients — with a team that's completed over 16,000 installations in markets across the country.
We're an AI-driven, design-first company — we pair modern tools and fast online quoting with in-home consultations for a discerning, high-end clientele. This is creative work: every display is a custom design.
Every season, we help our clients transform their properties while giving motivated, creative sales professionals a chance to earn real seasonal income. Our team is built on professionalism, creativity, and an exceptional customer experience.
We're hiring driven, relationship-focused Seasonal Sales Representatives to design custom holiday lighting displays and close installation projects throughout the holiday season. This is a 1099 independent contractor role — you run your own book. You set your own schedule, manage your own territory, and set your own pricing above our floor. It's a hybrid inside-and-outside sales role:
- You close warm leads — you don't cold-prospect. We supply pre-qualified, pre-scheduled appointments in your territory — typically 2–15 a day in peak season, depending on your mix of in-home and online — as a resource for you to use. No cold calling, no door knocking, no dialing for dollars.
- In-home and online. Some deals you'll close on-site at the homeowner's property; others come in as online appointments you qualify and quote remotely.
- Fastest quote turnaround in the industry. Using Brite Base, our AI-driven design app, you'll build a custom visual proposal and get a quote back to the customer faster than anyone else in the market — so they can see their holiday display before a single light goes up.
- Creative work, not a script. Every display is a custom design — you'll bring your eye and your imagination to every property.
- A short, high-intensity season. Most of the money is made in a concentrated stretch from early November through early December.
- Built for a seasonal lifestyle. Work hard and have fun in a short, intense window, earn well, then have the rest of the year for what matters. Strong performers earn a standing invitation to return — and a path to a year-round Account Executive role.
- Meet with pre-qualified homeowner leads across your assigned territory and conduct professional in-home design consultations.
- Qualify online appointments and build estimates for online deals — turning around a custom quote with the fastest turnaround in the industry.
- Assess each property's layout and discuss the customer's preferences and budget.
- Build customized holiday lighting designs and visual proposals in Brite Base.
- Present pricing, answer questions, and confidently close — in person or remotely.
- Document measurements, installation notes, and customer requests in our CRM.
- Follow up with customers when appropriate to maximize close rates.
- Optional sales huddles and ongoing coaching are available throughout the season — use them as you see fit.
- Build strong customer relationships that generate referrals and repeat business.
- 1099 independent contractor — commission only.
- Uncapped commission on every job you close — and you earn a higher rate on business you bring in yourself, so the harder you hunt, the more you make.
- You set your own prices above our floor — your margin, your upside.
- Paid on outcomes: a portion at signed contract and the balance at completed install.
Seasonal earnings: $15,000–$35,000 for a strong season.
Earnings vary and are not guaranteed. This is a 1099 independent contractor role; income depends on your effort, lead flow, territory, and season length.
Season Timeline- Training: Two weeks in Salt Lake City, beginning early-to-mid October. We arrange and cover your travel — flights, ground, and hotel.
- Selling season: Mid/late October through December.
- Peak: Most of the money is made in a focused ~35-day window — early November to early December (Nov 1–Dec
