Inside Sales Representative

Westland Distributing is a well-established wholesale distribution company and a leader in the manufactured housing parts industry. We are seeking an energetic, customer-focused Inside Sales Representative to help drive profitable growth at our Phoenix, Arizona branch.

This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for a sales professional who thrives on building relationships, exceeding goals, and coaching others to success. As the primary point of contact for our customers, you will manage inbound sales inquiries, lead outbound sales efforts, resolve customer issues, and serve as a role model and escalation point for our Inside Sales team.

What You'll Do

• Consistently meet or exceed monthly Phoenix branch sales goals
• Manage customer inquiries in person, by phone, and through email
• Create quotes and process sales orders using Sage 100
• Research and resolve customer questions regarding products, pricing, orders, and deliveries
• Build and maintain strong relationships that drive customer retention and repeat business
• Identify opportunities to increase sales and customer satisfaction during every interaction
• Develop extensive product knowledge to effectively support customers and grow sales
• Lead by example and mentor Inside Sales team members
• Handle escalated customer concerns and larger sales opportunities
• Support prospecting efforts through outbound calls, internet research, referrals, and follow-up activities
• Collaborate with branch operations to ensure orders are fulfilled accurately and on time
• Participate in special projects and continuous improvement initiatives

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years of sales experience required
• Experience in construction materials, building products, manufactured housing, or a related industry required
• Strong relationship-building and customer service skills
• Proven ability to influence customers and drive revenue growth
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail
• Strong time management and multitasking abilities
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; ability to quickly learn Sage 100
• Positive attitude with a solutions-focused mindset
• Demonstrated work ethic, accountability, and ownership
• Leadership qualities with a servant-minded approach
