Ready Mix Sales Representative

Cal Portland seeks a Ready Mix Sales Representative to grow and manage ready-mix concrete business within an assigned territory. In this field-based role, you will build strong relationships with contractors, builders, and industrial customers while promoting Cal Portland's high-quality, sustainable products. Responsibilities include prospecting and closing new accounts, providing technical product guidance, preparing quotes, and coordinating closely with operations and dispatch to ensure reliable, on-time deliveries.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage relationships with contractors, builders, and industrial customers to grow ready-mix concrete sales
• Identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities in assigned territory
• Provide technical product knowledge and guidance on mix designs, applications, and specifications
• Prepare and deliver accurate quotes, proposals, and pricing in alignment with company margins
• Coordinate with operations, dispatch, and logistics teams to ensure on-time and accurate deliveries
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to inform sales strategy
• Maintain CRM records, sales forecasts, and activity reports
• Collaborate with internal teams on bids, large projects, and sustainability-focused solutions
• Support job site visits, problem-solving, and customer service follow-up
• Adhere to all safety, environmental, and compliance standards
