We are seeking motivated, customer-focused individuals to join a growing Technical Sales team supporting advanced industrial and automation solutions. Position OverviewThe Technical Sales Representative will work directly with customers to identify operational challenges, recommend technical solutions, and support business growth within an assigned territory. This is a field-based outside sales role that combines relationship management, consultative selling, and hands-on product demonstrations.
Responsibilities- Develop expertise in the company’s technical products, services, and automation solutions
- Generate new business opportunities through prospecting, outbound outreach, referrals, and territory development
- Conduct on-site customer meetings, solution presentations, and product demonstrations
- Partner with internal sales and engineering teams to support customer needs and drive revenue growth
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients
- Maintain activity tracking, account updates, and sales pipeline management within CRM tools
- Meet and exceed territory sales and performance goals
- Bachelor’s degree required; equivalent military or related professional experience may be considered
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated work ethic and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to adapt to varying customer environments and technical discussions
- Comfortable with frequent regional travel, including overnight travel as needed
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
- Ability to transport and set up product demonstration equipment when necessary
