As a Dealer Success Manager (DSM), you operate as a Strategic Consultant and Customer-Centric Partner to our auto dealers, anchoring your efforts firmly within the Capital One Sales Process. In this role, you are a problem seeker, looking in all directions for ways to support our customers and help them achieve their goals. The DSM is a high-horsepower hunter role, where you prospect and secure net-new subscribers for your partnering sales division.
You are instrumental in driving market share and overall revenue growth across key territories within your assigned sales division. This includes Navigator Platform subscription revenue and marketing/campaign revenue. In this role, you must build rapport with key auto dealer decision makers, influence the decision process and drive the company’s bottom line. This role is built for pure, high-powered sales execution. We are looking for true road warriors who thrive on the move, as 80%+ travel will be required to influence key decision-makers face-to-face in high-opportunity growth markets.
We are seeking motivated, high-motor sales professionals who not only close, but do so with integrity and unassailability. This individual must demonstrate highly effective communication and interpersonal skills, thrive in a fast-paced environment and embrace the road warrior mindset.
Key Responsibilities- Drive Revenue:
Prospect and sell our full suite of Navigator Platform products (both bundles and marketing solutions) as a primary engine behind our ambitious CARR goals. - Segmentation:
Partner with your Regional leaders to identify high opportunity customers to maximize your time and ROI - Demonstrate Mastery:
Showcase high-degree fluency in product knowledge and run captivating, pitch-perfect demos. - Solve Big Problems:
Act as a relentless problem seeker who uncovers hidden friction points and turns them into growth opportunities. - Deliver Value:
Maintain a deep, unshakeable commitment to driving real customer success
This position will be traveling up to 80% within the US.
Basic Qualifications- High School diploma, GED or equivalent certification
- At least 1 year of experience in Process Management
- At least 1 year of experience in Relationship management
- Bachelors Degree
- 2+ years of experience in Process Management
- 2+ years of experience in Relationship management

Phoenix, AZ: $109,900 - $125,400 for Dealer Success Manager
Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate’s offer letter.
This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
