A direct hire opportunity is available for an experienced Proposal Lead
- Construction in Phoenix, AZ. This role is ideal for a senior proposal professional with a strong background in construction, architecture, engineering, industrial facilities, infrastructure, RFQ responses, RFP responses, and design-build pursuits. The Proposal Lead
- Construction will support high-impact pursuit efforts by developing client-specific proposal content, coordinating with technical leaders, and ensuring proposal packages are accurate, polished, compliant, and aligned with brand standards. • Lead assigned RFQ and RFP responses, including complex design-build pursuits, ensuring themes, scope, qualifications, and project experience are accurate and compelling.
• Write, edit, organize, verify, and format proposal content to create high-quality, client‑specific response packages.
• Coordinate with senior technical staff, project development teams, proposal managers, and regional leadership to keep pursuit efforts on schedule.
• Lead proposal kickoff meetings, capture planning discussions, and communication with local and remote partners.
• Support presentation and interview preparation for prospective clients.
• Maintain proposal, project, and marketing information in company databases and help capture project data, progress updates, onsite events, and photography.

• Salary range: $90,000 to $100,000 per year.

• Lead RFQ and RFP proposal development for construction, industrial facilities, infrastructure, and design-build pursuits.
• Manage proposal timelines, assignments, content development, reviews, and final production requirements.
• Develop proposal themes, technical narratives, staff qualifications, project experience, and client-specific messaging.
• Collaborate with operations and leadership teams to capture project data and strengthen pursuit strategy.
• 10+ years of relevant professional experience in proposal development, marketing, communications, or a related field.
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing or a relevant field of study, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5+ years of architecture, engineering, and construction industry experience.
• 5+ years of management or team leadership experience.
• 3+ years of CRM software experience, such as Deltek or Cosential.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud.
• Strong writing, editing, proofreading, formatting, and proposal organization skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Highly organized with strong task management, prioritization, and deadline management capabilities.
• Ability to work independently while contributing effectively in a team-based environment.
