Regional Sales Manager – Construction

• Grow sales of Dramix® steel fibers and Synmix® synthetic fibers
• Create demand with specifiers, contractors, ready mix producers, and other key industry stakeholders
• Convert market opportunities into volume, revenue, margin, and repeat business
• Build and maintain relationships across the construction ecosystem
• Communicate the technical and commercial value of fiber reinforced concrete
• Partner with Regional Sales Engineers and technical teams on specifications, design assistance, value engineering, mix design reviews, trial batches, first pours, and project execution
• Support ready mix producers and contractors through training, technical guidance, pre pour planning, and risk reduction strategies
• Manage the regional pipeline through CRM and market intelligence
• Develop strategic accounts and priority market segments
• Represent Bekaert as a trusted technical and commercial advisor
• Collaborate with internal teams to maintain Bekaert's leadership in fiber reinforced concrete solutions
• Identify, pursue, and execute strategic projects
• Deliver presentations and consultative recommendations
• Negotiate and close complex, high value sales agreements while maintaining pricing discipline and profitability
• Monitor market trends, competitive activities, and emerging technologies
• Engage with industry organizations, committees, and events

• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, building engineering, technical sales, or a related field
• At least 5 years of construction market experience, preferably within the industrial sector
• Familiarity with industrial building codes and ACI standards preferred
• Experience using Customer Relationship Management tools
• Knowledge of reinforced concrete design, applicable standards, and industry recommendations
• Ability to interpret market trends and technical sales data to shape practical sales strategies
• Ability to explain complex technical concepts in clear, simple language
• Willing and able to travel up to 60% within the territory
• Self motivated and proactive, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Entrepreneurial mindset with sound decision making skills and the ability to balance accuracy with efficiency
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Adaptable, with strong listening, analytical, and problem solving skills
• Driven to build relationships and promote steel fiber reinforced concrete solutions
• P. Eng license preferred but not required
