We're looking for a qualified Inside Sales Representative to join our team within our Arizona Office.
Under the direction of the Inside Sales Manager, the Inside Sales Representative plays a key role in fostering strong relationships with customers, vendors, and retailers. This position involves engaging with customers via phone, in person, and through written communication to provide comprehensive information on games, policies, procedures, and regulations. The incumbent is responsible for handling customer inquiries, resolving issues efficiently, and promoting instant ticket sales through strategic marketing efforts.
WhatYou'll Do
- Develop and maintain strong, productive relationships with District Lottery Representatives (DLRs) and Lottery Retailers to support sales growth and customer satisfaction.
- Maximize retailer sales through effective marketing strategies and superior customer service.
- Conduct weekly calls with assigned retailers to monitor inventory levels, provide product recommendations, and educate on promotions and new games.
- Accurately input and process sales orders while ensuring proper documentation.
- Serve as a key communication channel between retailers and management, promptly relaying feedback, suggestions, and concerns.
- Provide in-person and phone support to customers by selling and redeeming tickets, answering inquiries, and mailing requested materials.
- Handle cash transactions efficiently, including balancing registers, preparing bank deposits, and completing financial reports.
- Prepare winner checks within the designated payout limit.
- Perform accurate data entry and maintain records of sales and customer interactions.
- Operate computers, ticket terminals, calculators, and other office equipment efficiently.
- Train new employees as needed to ensure consistent team performance.
- Assist in additional responsibilities and projects as assigned by management.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record required.
- At least 1 year of experience in a call center and customer service environment.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a fast-paced customer service or sales setting.
- Proven ability to handle cash transactions with accuracy and accountability.
- Flexibility to work extended hours, including overtime during peak periods such as holidays.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in basic computer operations and data entry.
- Strong mathematical skills for handling transactions and reconciliations.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is considered an asset.
