Role DescriptionThe Project Manager will oversee environmental consulting projects from initiation through completion, ensuring that scope, schedule, budget, and quality standards are met. This full-time, on-site role in Phoenix, AZ involves coordinating project plans, assigning tasks, and monitoring progress, as well as maintaining clear communication with clients, internal teams, and external partners. Day-to-day responsibilities include organizing field inspections, managing project activities, tracking deliverables, and preparing reports.
The Project Manager will identify and mitigate project risks, resolve issues, and support compliance with relevant environmental regulations and company procedures. This role also involves mentoring project staff, contributing to process improvements, and supporting business development through accurate proposals and client relationships.
- Conduct Phase I Environmental Site Assessments
- Conduct microbial, lead and asbestos inspections and sampling
- Prepare inspection reports based on the inspection findings
- Conduct asbestos and lead abatement oversight
- Other related duties as assigned
Education and Experience
- Minimum of 2 years work experience in the mentioned job duties is a plus.
- AHERA Building Inspector and Contractor/Supervisor Certifications
- US EPA Lead Building Inspector or Risk Assessor Certification
- Experience with Word, Excel
- Experience with CADD programs a plus
- NIOSH 582 Certification a plus
- Experience reading microbial air samples a plus
- Must submit to a background check and pre-employment drug screen
- Ability to work evenings and weekends when needed
- Local travel around the State is required with some overnight stays
Competitive salary, commensurate with experience.
Pay: $52,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year base salary with overtime opportunities.
Base salary is adjustable based on qualifications.
