As a Security Officer - Retail Patrol Full-Time in Phoenix, AZ
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer in a busy retail distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will support associates and visitors with strong customer service, clear communication, and timely reporting.

Pay Rate: $21.50 / Hour

Job Schedule: Thursday 05:00 AM – 01:00 PM, Friday 05:00 AM – 01:00 PM, Saturday 05:00 AM – 01:00 PM, Sunday 05:00 AM – 01:00 PM

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as appropriate for a retail distribution location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site leadership and/or public emergency services when required.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, loading dock areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
• Monitor access points and vehicle and/or pedestrian traffic, verifying authorization and directing visitors, drivers, and associates according to site protocols.
• Complete detailed reports of daily activities, incidents, and observations, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts.

• Have 1+ years of security-related experience.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
