As a Security Officer - Rapid Response Rover in Phoenix, AZ
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a commercial real estate location where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will assist tenants, visitors, and property staff with a professional, customer‑focused approach, communicate clearly, and document observations.

What You'll Do:
  • Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site‑specific procedures, access control practices, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout the commercial real estate location, including common areas, parking areas, and building perimeters, to help to deter unwanted activity and/or policy violations.
  • Monitor and report unusual conditions such as unauthorized persons, suspicious behavior, property damage, and maintenance hazards, and notify site management and/or public emergency services as directed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, providing support to occupants and coordinating with responding personnel.
  • Complete detailed reports of daily activities, patrol observations, incidents, and tenant or visitor interactions, and communicate pertinent information during shift transitions.
Minimum Requirements:
  • Have 1+ years of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
