** Security Guard - Unarmed Patrol Driver
** in  
** Phoenix, AZ** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy retail location, you will complete scheduled patrols and driving rounds, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and assist guests and team members with clear, professional communication. You will document observations and reports using a computer or tablet while supporting a people-first culture built on integrity, teamwork, and reliable service.

A valid driver's license is required.

** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to clients and store associates by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, including sales floor, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or policy violations.

+ Observe and report suspicious activity, potential theft indicators, and/or hazards; document observations and actions according to site requirements.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation and coordinating with local law enforcement and/or emergency services when needed.

+ Control access where assigned, monitor camera systems and/or alarm panels, and assist with opening and closing routines, employee escorts, and customer assistance as directed by post orders.

* + A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ Having a guard card/license is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
