** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to clients at a government location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

+ Monitor access points, visitor flow, and restricted areas in accordance with posted instructions and site requirements, reporting irregular activity and/or policy concerns.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with onsite staff and public responders as needed.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and the perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by assignment.

+ Complete shift documentation such as activity logs, incident reports, and pass-down notes, and communicate status updates to supervisors and/or site representatives.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + Access control and badge experience is preferred.

+ A guard card and/or license is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
