Job Description
As a Security Professional here at Honeywell, you will play a vital role in safeguarding our organization's assets and ensuring compliance with security protocols. Your expertise will help protect sensitive information and maintain the trust of our customers.
You will report directly to our Security Manager and you’ll work on-site out of our Phoenix, AZ location with Glendale, AZ as a secondary location.
In this role, you will impact the security framework of our operations, ensuring that our security measures are robust and effective in mitigating risks.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and recommend improvements.
- Develop and implement security policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to foster a culture of security awareness and best practices.
- Serve as the designated Site Security Manager (SSM) for multiple ICD 705 construction efforts at their assigned facility.
- 5 or more years of experience in security management or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of security protocols, risk assessment methodologies, and compliance standards.
- Experience with security technologies and tools, including surveillance systems and UL 2050 Intrusion Detection Systems, and access control systems.
- Proficiency in incident response and crisis management procedures.
- Experience in Special Access Programs and Sensitive Compartmented Information.
- Working knowledge of Program Protection Plans, Fixed Facility Checklist, Construction Security Plans, Standard Operating Procedures, cryptographic equipment, and preparation and maintenance of DD254’s.
- Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice, Security Management, or a related field.
- Experience in the aerospace or defense industry.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also able to make decisions independently.
- Experience working with Senior Level Executive personnel.
- Certifications such as ICD 705, CPP, SPSC or similar are a plus.
