As a Flex Part-Time Security Officer, you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. Learn more: As a Front Desk Officer with Allied Universal, you will be the welcoming first point of contact at a professional office location, helping manage visitor check‑in, access control, and phone and/or radio communications.
You will monitor cameras and alarm activity, document security‑related events, and support employees and guests with a customer‑first approach. Bring agility, reliability, and integrity while collaborating with your team to deliver a polished, people‑first experience.

- Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or vendors by following site‑specific procedures, access protocols, and other security‑related policies.
- Monitor the front desk area, observe activity in and around the lobby, and report suspicious activity to help to deter unwanted behavior.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, including contacting site leadership and/or emergency services as directed by post orders.
- Manage visitor processing tasks such as sign‑in and/or sign‑out, issuing temporary badges as directed, and maintaining accurate logs and reports.
- Support emergency response activities from the front desk post, including communicating instructions and/or updates per site procedures.
- Have 2+ years of security‑related experience.
- Be 21+ years of age.
- Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
- Have alarm panel experience, preferred.
- Have customer service experience, preferred.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
