• Provide customer service to visitors, employees and contractors by carrying out site‑specific procedures, access protocols and security‑related policies at a government location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, and communicate observations to supervisors and/or appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout buildings, grounds and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or permissions as required, and document visitor, contractor and delivery activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports of incidents, daily activities and maintenance or operational issues, and support emergency response activities when appropriate.

• Possess 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military or security‑related experience, or a college degree.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
