What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an industrial location.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting unusual activity to the appropriate contacts.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout production areas, warehouses, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or deliveries, and support access control procedures for personnel, visitors, and vehicles entering the location.
Complete routine reports, communicate with site leadership and/or public emergency responders when needed, and assist with security-related concerns involving equipment, property, and restricted areas.

Minimum Requirements:

Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
A guard card and/or license is preferred.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
