Position: Armed Security Officer Full Time

Day  Time      Wed  02:00 PM - 10:00 PM    Thur  02:00 PM - 10:00 PM    Fri  02:00 PM - 10:00 PM    Sat  10:00 PM - 06:00 AM    Sun  10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
What You'll Do:
Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control practices, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to an armed patrol post in a manufacturing and industrial location.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or public responders as needed.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout production areas, warehouses, shipping and receiving zones, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
Monitor entry and exit activity for people, vehicles, and materials, following post orders for screening, credential checks, key control, and/or visitor handling.
Support incident reporting and routine inspections by noting unusual conditions, equipment issues, policy violations, and/or hazards, then sharing information through appropriate Allied Universal channels.

Minimum Requirements:

An armed guard card/license is required.
A guard card/license is preferred.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
