What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or members of the public while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related protocols at a government location.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting emergency services and/or designated personnel when appropriate.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
Monitor entrances, restricted areas, and public-facing spaces, verifying access permissions and documenting security-related incidents, observations, and/or unusual conditions.
Support emergency response activities, de-escalation efforts, and coordination with site contacts and/or law enforcement in accordance with post orders and assigned responsibilities.

Minimum Requirements:

Have at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
An armed guard card/license is preferred.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
