** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, credential checks, and security-related policies at the location.

+ Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and/or delivery documentation, and help to deter unauthorized access to docks, yards, gates, and other restricted areas.

+ Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to site contacts and/or emergency responders when appropriate.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, perimeter, parking areas, and shipping and receiving zones, with awareness that working environments and conditions may vary by location.

+ Document daily activities, access-related events, and unusual conditions, and communicate clearly with site personnel regarding security-related concerns and/or operational issues.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + Customer service experience is preferred.

+ A guard card and/or license is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
