Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $24.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:
Day Time Wed 08:30 AM - 05:30 PM
Fri 08:30 AM - 05:30 PM
Sat 08:30 AM - 02:30 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials, visitor activity, and/or deliveries in accordance with site protocols, reporting concerns or irregularities through appropriate channels.
• Support cash handling, high-value asset movement, and other sensitive operations by maintaining a visible presence and following post orders, applicable laws, and Allied Universal standards.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
