This is a full-time, on-site Security Professional role based in the Greater Phoenix Area. The Security Professional will conduct regular patrols by vehicle, bicycle, and foot to deter criminal activity and ensure a visible safety presence. Daily responsibilities include monitoring properties and people, observing and reporting suspicious activity, responding to incidents, and contacting law enforcement or emergency services when needed. The role involves documenting events through detailed written reports, as well as collecting video, audio, and photographic evidence in line with client requirements and company protocols.
The Security Professional will interact respectfully with residents, visitors, and clients, enforce site-specific rules and regulations, and maintain a professional appearance while adhering to all safety and compliance standards.
- Strong physical security capabilities, including patrol, access control, situational awareness, and incident response.
- Foundational understanding of information security, including handling sensitive information, maintaining confidentiality, and following evidence-handling procedures.
- Basic familiarity with cybersecurity, network security, and the secure use of surveillance and communication systems is an advantage.
- Excellent communication skills, including clear verbal communication, concise report writing, and professional interaction with community members, clients, and law enforcement.
- Valid security guard license through the Arizona Department of Public Safety; clean driving record and valid driver’s license required for patrol duties.
- Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods and work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Prior security, military, or law enforcement experience preferred, along with strong judgment, integrity, and commitment to community safety.
