Job DescriptionAs an Armed Security Officer – Tactical Patrol in Phoenix, AZ
, you will serve and safeguard clients across a variety of industries such as financial institutions. In this role you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication.

Pay Rate: $25.00 / Hour
Job Schedule:
Day Time (Mon‑Fri 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM)
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts, emergency services, and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location—including the lobby, public areas, restricted areas, parking areas, and perimeter— to deter unauthorized activity and unusual behavior.
- Monitor entrances, access points, and sensitive areas, verifying credentials and observing for suspicious activity, policy violations, and conditions that may require a security‑related response.
- Maintain a visible presence while following post orders for an armed assignment, handling security‑related concerns with professionalism and supporting day‑to‑day operations at the location.
- 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security‑related experience, or possession of a college degree.
- 1+ year of armed security‑related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
- Armed guard card and/or license.
- Proof of a high school diploma or GED (as required by the client).
- At least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements (required for driving positions only).
- Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participation in industry‑specific security training programs.
- L‑licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
