This role is for both an armed and/or an unarmed security guard position.

Job Description: We are seeking vigilant and reliable Security Guards, both armed and unarmed, to join our team. As a Security Guard at STRAPT Security Consultants, you will be responsible for protecting our clients' property, deterring criminal activity, and ensuring the safety of all individuals on-site.

Responsibilities:

• Regular patrols of the premises are conducted to maintain a visible security presence.
• Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons.
• Prevent losses and damage by reporting irregularities and informing violators of policy and procedures.
• Ensure the security, safety, and well-being of all personnel, visitors, and the premises.
• Provide excellent customer service to clients and visitors.
• Respond to emergencies and provide assistance to staff, visitors, and customers in need.
• Follow procedures for various initiatives, including fire prevention, property patrol, traffic control, and accident investigations.

Qualifications:

• Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Reliable transportation to and from work.
• Operational cellular smartphone.
• Excellent knowledge of public safety and security procedures/protocols.
• Surveillance skills and detail orientation.
• Integrity and professionalism.
• A high school diploma or equivalent and further education in security administration or similar is a plus.
• Previous experience as a security guard or in a relevant position is preferred.

Requirements for Armed Security Guards:

• Must possess a valid Arizona Armed Security Guard license.
• Must maintain firearm proficiency and undergo regular training.

Requirements for Unarmed Security Guards:

• Must possess a valid Arizona Unarmed Security Guard license.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand or walk for long periods.
• Ability to handle physically demanding situations.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
