Patrol the facility and grounds by foot or vehicle, monitor security alarms and dispatch officers promptly to locations where needed;
Respond to calls for assistance in a timely and prudent manner to incidents such as violent or unruly patients, visitors, crimes in progress, opening doors;
Log all activities in a daily log and write clear, concise incident reports;
Investigate security breaches, conduct follow-up investigations, and HIPAA breach reporting as witnessed;
Enforce regulations when assistance is requested by medical staff and employees and respond rapidly to security emergencies within the hospital or healthcare setting
