Armed Security Guard Security Clearance

Shields Point LLC has a dynamic opportunity for full‑time Armed Guards supporting the Western Area Power Administration (WAPA) Protective Services Contract in Phoenix, Arizona. Armed Guards maintain the safety and security protocols, safeguard personnel, property and assets within the designated premises. The position includes 8/12 hour shifts on days, nights, and weekends.

• Provides access control.
• Foot patrols.
• Alarm monitoring and assessment.
• Report writing.
• Protecting government personnel and property.
• Respond to emergencies in a calm and effective manner.
• Professionally communicate with customers, employees, and visitors.
• Perform other duties as directed.

• U.S. Citizen.
• At least 21 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED certificate.
• Pass a medical examination, drug screen, and federal background investigation when required.
• At least three years of experience in the security industry, military, or law enforcement OR an associate degree or completion of twenty-four college credits OR active, retired or honorably discharged service in the U.S. Armed Forces, National Guard, or Reserve OR graduation from a law enforcement basic academy.
• Successfully complete all required training, including firearms qualifications, pepper spray, CPR, First Aid, and expandable baton when required.
• Fluently speak, read, and comprehend English.
• Good communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate complex concepts.
• State Guard License required.
• State Driver License required.
