Transportation Incident Response Coordinator

Pay Range

$21.00-$24.00 hourly.

Hours:

2000 hours to 0600 Wednesday–Saturday.

Location:

Phoenix, AZ.

We’re seeking an operations‑minded problem solver who can triage multiple events at once, make timely and defensible decisions with incomplete information, and proactively elevate to the right stakeholders before risks compound. The ideal candidate demonstrates calm de‑escalation, clear written and verbal communication, honesty and accountability (including learning from mistakes), and effective teamwork across Operations, Safety, and HR. They are comfortable with everyday computer tools and systems, can synthesize data into concise briefs, and flex as situations evolve.

Monitor and analyze the movements of all designated equipment and cargo across the United States within set perimeters of the Loss Prevention and Safety Policies. Evaluate situations based on location, activity and time to eliminate or deter theft, loss, and safety concerns to employees. Triage all emergency calls for all brands and locations across the country, including HR, Safety, Physical Security and other departments that are not 24/7.

This is a Security Operations Center, not a Uniform Security guard position.

• Utilize a database of varied information, both current and historical, to predict short‑term future events.
• Read and use all types of maps (computer and hard copy) to conduct searches and back (reverse) analysis, and to locate target positions across the United States and local areas.
• Review completed events and deduce when and where they occurred, the order, and who was involved.
• Review exchanged messages and develop event patterns, filling in missing information using the location and event analysis findings.
• Maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner that facilitates business operations to meet company demands and expectations.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership, including guard‑related activities in the yard.

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Decision‑making skills:
  Make decisions based on analysis, determine when to seek additional help, and refer to higher authority as required.
• Personnel management skills:
  Discuss issues with individuals, manage crises, and handle multiple crises simultaneously.
• Communication and writing skills:
  Generate written and presentation reports, conduct oral reports, and answer questions efficiently.
• Computer skills:
  Windows, Excel, PowerPoint, Edge, Chrome, Access.
