Patrol the facility and grounds by foot or vehicle, monitor security alarms and dispatch officers to locations as needed;
Observe and report activities and incidents, and log daily events in a security journal;
Respond to calls for assistance, enforce regulations, and provide rapid response to emergencies within hospital settings;
Investigate security breaches and write incident reports to document findings;
Protect staff, patients, and visitors by upholding hospital policies and HIPAA considerations
