Equipment Installer II – Phoenix, AZ – Vertiv

Lead quality installations of equipment in data center and construction environments, following engineering instructions and drawings, while ensuring customer and company standards are met. Position requires regional and occasional national travel.

• Install equipment in data center and construction environments.
• Analyze job drawings, specifications, and MOPs on‑site.
• Ensure installations meet all applicable standards.
• Prioritize safety, following all procedures and using proper PPE.
• Maintain professional appearance and provide outstanding customer service.
• Use computer for data entry and administrative tasks.
• Lead a team of installers in performing above tasks.
• Participate in project meetings.
• Conduct daily safety meetings.
• Generate daily job logs and reports.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of equipment installation experience in data center or construction environments, or equivalent technical training.
• Strong verbal, written, and customer‑facing skills.
• Basic computer skills, including MS Office.
• Familiarity with construction management software (e.g., Procore).
• Advanced knowledge and skill with power and hand tools.
• Ability to adjust to fluctuating work schedules.
• Ability to pass background, drug, and motor vehicle screening.

• OSHA 10 required; OSHA 30 preferred.
• Fall protection preferred.
• Manlift/Forklift certification preferred.
