Foundation Tradesman

Overview

Suntec Concrete is seeking reliable, hardworking Foundation Tradesmen to join our growing construction team. This position supports foundation work on commercial and industrial projects
, including layout verification, excavation, formwork, and concrete operations. This is a hands-on role that requires physical labor, outdoor work, and strict adherence to safety standards.

• Assist with project setup, layout, and site preparation
• Perform layout using Trimble equipment
• Operate equipment as qualified (Backhoe, Track Hoe, Mini Excavator, Loader)
• Check pad and footing elevations following excavation
• Verify survey layout to ensure building squareness
• Set anchor bolts, form footings, set masonry racks, and install embed plates per specifications
• Assist with concrete placement, vibrating, and finishing operations
• Perform caisson drilling and rigging of caisson rebar cages (certified riggers preferred)
• Maintain jobsite cleanliness and organization
• Load and unload tools, materials, and equipment
• Follow all safety protocols and wear required PPE at all times
• Support skilled trades and supervision as needed

• Previous construction or general labor experience preferred
• Foundation experience is a strong advantage
• Ability to read and follow basic instructions, drawings, and layout information
• Ability to work in a physically demanding environment (lifting 50+ lbs, standing, bending, climbing, etc.)
• Willingness to work in varying weather conditions, including overtime and Saturdays when required
• Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
• Must be onsite and ready to work 15 minutes before scheduled start time
