Job Description Commercial Modular Installation Specialist
Russo Modular is a commercial modular building manufacturer specializing in steel-framed modular construction. We are seeking a highly reliable and experienced Commercial Modular Installation Specialist to support modular installations nationwide and contribute to production operations at our Phoenix manufacturing facility when not traveling.
This role is ideal for a self-directed, multi-trade professional who can be trusted to work independently, represent the company on client sites, and support all phases of the modular construction process.
Job Responsibilities- Travel to job sites to support and execute commercial modular installations
- Perform on-site work including module setting support, exterior finishing, interior adjustments, punch-list completion, and coordination with other trades
- Work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining productivity and quality
- Represent Russo Modular professionally while working in front of clients, inspectors, and other contractors
- Troubleshoot and resolve installation issues in the field
- When not traveling, support modular manufacturing and finishing operations at the Phoenix facility
- Assist with fabrication, assembly, finishing, and quality control as needed
- Follow all safety, quality, and company standards both in the shop and in the field
- Must own your own tools including impact drill and grinder
- Demonstrated experience in multiple construction trades (framing, finish carpentry, exterior finishing, metal work, glazing, roofing, or similar)
- Experience with commercial modular construction or installation strongly preferred
- Proven ability to work independently with little supervision
- Willingness and ability to travel regularly, including overnight travel
- Professional appearance and strong communication skills when working on client sites
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Valid driver’s license and ability to meet job-related requirements - Physically capable of performing hands-on construction work
- Willingness and ability to travel as required to support modular installations nationwide
- Willingness to work overtime, including extended hours and weekends, as needed to meet modular installation schedules and client deadlines
- Modular installation schedules are driven by client commitments and project timelines
- No PTO requests will be approved during scheduled modular installation periods
- Employees must remain flexible and available during active install windows to ensure on-time project completion
- Overtime and schedule adjustments may be required to meet installation deadlines and customer expectations
