HDD Locator
HDD Locator are responsible for precise HDD placement, utilizing the latest in electronics to navigate the drill stem in a trenchless operation. HDD Locators work under the supervision of the Superintendent.
What Do You Offer Us?
* Locate utilities with either Digi-track locating systems
* Operate equipment, including, but not limited to directional drills, locating systems, backhoe, excavators
* Locators read and interpret utility maps to determine the presence of underground utilities.
* Other duties as required for business purposes.

What is Required?
* Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) w/ Tanker Endorsement - Preferred
* Experience with locating & verify all utilities before construction Ability to work safely, with or without supervision.
* Ability to work extended hours when necessary for business
* Experience working in construction is a plus
* Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment
* Ability and willingness to travel as needed
* Lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds of force frequently
* Exertion up to 100 pounds of force occasionally
* Walking on uneven terrain/surfaces
* Sitting or standing for long periods of time
* Reaching and lifting overhead frequently
* Work environment outdoors in weather conditions that vary from freezing temperatures to heat above 90 degrees, in wet and dry conditions and in rural areas.
* Work may be performed in confined spaces. Some exposure to odors, gases, dust and dirt may occur.
* The noise level in the work environment may range from moderate to loud.
* May spend long periods of time driving and/or riding in line construction vehicles to reach remote areas of the service territory.
