Lead Metal Roofing Installer

Job Description

Russo Modular is a commercial modular building manufacturer specializing in high-quality, steel-framed modular construction. We are seeking an experienced Lead Metal Roofing Installer to oversee metal roofing and exterior finishing operations within our production facility.

This is a hands‑on supervisory role responsible for leading crews, ensuring quality workmanship, and coordinating exterior metal installations on modular units prior to delivery. Work is primarily shop‑based, with limited field work.

• Lead and supervise metal roofing and exterior finishing crews in a manufacturing environment
• Install metal roofing systems on modular buildings (standing seam, ribbed panel, and architectural systems)
• Oversee and perform all exterior metal finishing work, including trim, flashing, wall panels, soffits, fascias, and fasteners
• Read, interpret, and enforce construction drawings, details, and specifications
• Plan daily work activities, assign tasks, and ensure production schedules are met
• Ensure proper flashing, sealing, and weatherproofing for watertight assemblies
• Perform quality control inspections and correct deficiencies as needed
• Train, mentor, and support installers to maintain consistent workmanship standards
• Coordinate with production managers, quality teams, and other trades
• Enforce OSHA and company safety standards
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area

• Extensive experience as a metal roofing installer, with prior lead or supervisory experience required
• Proven expertise in full exterior metal finishing systems
• Strong knowledge of flashing details, trim systems, and weatherproofing methods
• Ability to read drawings, layouts, and installation details accurately
• Experience in modular, commercial, or manufacturing environments preferred
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills
• Comfortable working at heights and on elevated platforms
• High attention to detail with a commitment to quality and accountability
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods
