Job Description

Join our team in constructing shaded structures for commercial buildings. This role involves overseeing the installation of structural components and ensuring the successful completion of projects.

$20 - $24 per hour.

• Construct shaded structures for commercial buildings.
• Excavate materials and prepare site.
• Set and secure columns.
• Pour concrete into 36" round and 10-foot deep footings.
• Place steel structures and custom components over a period of 2-3 weeks.
• Install ladders and use leveling tools.
• Perform occasional electrical work if shades include lighting.
• Lead and manage a team of one or two laborers.
• Read and interpret construction drawings.
• Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.

• 5+ years of experience in carpentry and concrete/steel work.
• Leadership experience in managing laborers.
• Proficiency in reading blueprints and construction drawings.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to track invoices/receipts and complete expense reports.
• Familiarity with using smartphones and basic computer skills.

• 1+ year of experience in outdoor construction for laborer positions.
• Experience in using structural steel, carpentry, and concrete.
• Strong communication skills and ability to use email for professional communication.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Phoenix, AZ.

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $28.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Phoenix, AZ.
