Lead HVAC installation technician responsible for installing, maintaining, and optimizing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems for residential and commercial properties. Oversees installation crew, ensures compliance with safety regulations, and maintains equipment inventory.
Key Responsibilities- Communicate effectively with customers and crew, demonstrating attention to detail and meeting deadlines under pressure.
- Operate specialized equipment to clean air delivery systems and blow insulation into non‑air‑conditioned spaces.
- Install low‑voltage accessories to enhance air quality, including UV lights and electronic filters.
- Apply radiant barriers and achieve required insulation R‑values while adhering to strict safety protocols.
- Ensure every job meets quality standards with minimal callbacks and thorough documentation, including photos and customer signatures.
- Maintain and responsibly care for company equipment, ensuring proper function and cleanliness after each job.
- Minimum two years of HVAC installation experience.
- Consistent, committed work history with no job hopping.
- EPA Type II certification and OSHA 10 Construction Safety and Health certificate.
- Valid driver’s license, satisfactory driving record, and ability to drive company fleet vehicles.
- Proficiency in reading electrical schematics, wiring, and performing duct cleaning tasks.
- Strong problem‑solving skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and quality.
