Position: LINE SERVICE TECHNICIAN (FT, multiple shifts in Phoenix, AZ). The salary range is $25.20 to $37.80 per hour. This is a day shift Wednesday through Sunday. Availability for on-call 24/7 outside of normal hours may be required, including potential overtime. Coverage at other stations in neighboring states may be required due to business needs.
Responsibilities- Electrical:
Basic electrical troubleshooting and repairs under direction of Tech 2, 3, Master. - Repair, replace, and adjust malfunctioning equipment to restore proper operating condition per Clean Energy SOPs and manufacturer repair manuals.
- Mechanical:
Basic mechanical troubleshooting and electrical repairs under direction of Tech 2, 3, Master. Repair, replace, and adjust malfunctioning equipment to restore proper operating condition per SOPs and manuals. - General:
Make scheduled inspections of CNG, LNG and/or LCNG fueling locations and equipment to determine proper operating conditions; diagnose and correct faulty components; clean and maintain fueling locations. - Drive to or between company sites to perform job responsibilities.
- Update and document all activity, service orders, work performed, and recommendations in the D365 Clean Energy Field Service Automation (FSA) software. Proficient on PC, laptop, and mobile devices.
- Maintain all fueling related equipment and structures per manufacturers’ requirements and Clean Energy SOPs.
- Travel to other stations as needed; on-call and off-duty hours as required.
- Other duties as assigned.
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Qualifications- Education and/or
Experience:
High School Diploma (preferred) or equivalent plus a minimum of 2 years of related or equivalent combination of education and experience. - Language
Skills:
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to communicate effectively in one-on-one and small group situations. - Mathematical
Skills:
Basic arithmetic, rate, ratio, percent, and ability to interpret graphs. - Reasoning Ability:
Practical understanding of detailed instructions; strong problem solving and critical thinking skills. - Computer
Skills:
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications. - Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
Valid driver’s license. - Physical Demands:
Frequent walking; standing; driving; lifting up to 25-75 pounds as specified; reasonable accommodations available. - Work Environment:
Ability to work in environments with moderate to high noise; includes post-offer background check per company policy (compliant with applicable laws).
Experience with Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) experience preferred. HVAC, mechanical and electrical experience also considered relevant.
