Overview

Commercial Plumbing Foreman at Sunstate Mechanical Services.

Shift: Monday – Fridays 8am-4 : 30pm (Some Saturdays dependent on job site)

Location : Office location is 2507 W. Erie Dr., Suite 103 Tempe, AZ 85282. This job requires traveling across the greater Phoenix Area (sites will vary based on the job).

Compensation:
Hourly Rate: $35-50 (DOE)

Requirements
  • You must be 18 years old.
  • You must be eligible to work in the U.S.
  • You must be able to pass a drug test.
  • You must be able to pass a motor vehicle history check.
  • For safety reasons, you must be able to speak English.
  • You must have your own tool kit.
  • A pre‑employment drug screen and criminal background check are required.
  • Able to lift up to 30 lbs.
Responsibilities
  • Install, repair, and maintain pipes for carrying water, sewage, gas, and other liquids for industrial and commercial facilities.
  • Maintain, repair, and install sinks, toilets, and other plumbing fixtures, as well as appliances including dishwashers and garbage disposals.
  • Unclog plumbing and repair issues to ensure proper water flow; may work on or with Hot Water Heaters.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, installers, dispatchers, and managers as needed.
  • Teach apprentices and supervise mechanical and plumbing work on construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
  • Develop plans including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation; monitor progress and adjust to meet deadlines and quality standards.
  • Coach crew members to maintain safety and efficiency; collaborate with project team to resolve issues or conflicts.
  • Implement quality control measures to ensure high workmanship; prepare regular reports on project status, including daily progress updates.
  • Safely operate a company vehicle during work hours.
