Position SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Industrial Foreman with a minimum of 8 years of hands‑on experience in industrial electrical systems and field leadership. This role is responsible for supervising crews, coordinating project activities, and ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to high‑quality standards.
Key Responsibilities- Lead, supervise, and mentor field crews on industrial job sites
- Ensure all work meets safety standards and OSHA requirements
- Review drawings, plan upcoming work, and coordinate with other trades
- Attend GC coordination meetings on behalf of LLR Electric
- Create short‑term plans (weekly/3‑week look ahead) to keep the job on track
- Order materials and manage manpower/equipment needs
- Track job progress and communicate updates to the PM and Superintendent
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical and control system issues in the field
- Perform daily quality checks and address issues quickly
- Complete basic project documentation (daily logs, timekeeping, safety forms)
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in industrial electrical work, with leadership or supervisory experience preferred
- Strong working knowledge of Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), motor controls, and automation systems
- Experience with flow transmitters and industrial instrumentation
- Proficiency in installing and working with various types of conduit systems (EMT, rigid, PVC, etc.)
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications
- OSHA 10 (required)
- Strong understanding of NEC, electrical systems, and commercial/industrial installations
- Ability to read blueprints, one‑lines, and specs
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Ability to stay organized, plan ahead, and mentor others
