Fire Alarm Systems Technician

Job Summary

Fire Alarm Systems Technician responsible for installing, programming, start‑up, and commissioning of fire safety and mass notification systems at our Tempe, AZ location serving the greater Phoenix area.

• Operate operational testing, verification, and acceptance; run routine reports and support customer acceptance and Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ).
• Assist in customer training on system operations, prepare as‑built drawings, identify code and non‑conformance issues, and make installation recommendations.
• Communicate and coordinate with trade contractors, schedule start‑up services, and adhere to local, corporate, and OSHA safety policies.

• 1+ years of experience in the installation and/or maintenance of commercial fire alarm systems.
• Ability to differentiate types/colors of wire; use hand tools, laptop, email, smartphone, and tablet; carry and move equipment weighing up to 75 pounds unassisted.
• Must obtain NICET Fire Alarm Certification Level I within 12 months.
• Must be 18 years of age and possess a valid driver’s license with limited violations; must meet eligibility requirements to participate in Siemens' fleet vehicle program.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship.

• High school diploma or state‑recognized GED;
  Associate degree in electronics or related field.
• NICET I Fire Alarm Systems.
• 3+ years’ experience in the installation and/or maintenance of commercial fire alarm systems.
• Ability to read and understand design and construction documents.

Pay range: $49,195 - $84,334 annually.
