Key Responsibilities
* Professionally install residential and commercial carpet according to manufacturer specifications and company quality standards
* Perform all phases of carpet installation including tear-out, floor prep, stretching, seaming, trimming, transitions, and final walkthroughs
* Review work orders, project scope, material details, and jobsite notes prior to arrival
* Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment throughout the project
* Properly operate and maintain installation tools and equipment
* Ensure accurate measurements, cuts, and layout execution with strong attention to detail
* Communicate professionally with homeowners, project managers, and team members while working in customers' homes
* Protect customer property and furnishings during installation
* Identify and communicate any jobsite concerns, subfloor issues, or material discrepancies before installation begins
* Maintain high workmanship standards and deliver an exceptional customer experience on every project
* Travel to various residential and commercial job sites throughout the Phoenix metro area
Qualifications
* Minimum 5 years of professional carpet installation experience
* Experience with residential carpet, stairs, pattern matching, seams, and stretch-in installations preferred
* Must maintain an active Arizona ROC license appropriate for flooring installation work
* Must maintain active General Liability Insurance and Workers' Compensation coverage
* Must provide proof of ROC license, insurance coverage, and all required business documentation prior to onboarding and maintain active status throughout subcontractor relationship
* Valid driver's license and reliable transportation capable of transporting tools and installation equipment
* Must have own professional installation tools and equipment
* Ability to lift 50-75 lbs repeatedly throughout the workday
* Ability to perform physical tasks including kneeling, crouching, bending, squatting, standing, walking, and lifting for extended periods
* Strong attention to detail, professionalism, and reliability
* Ability to work independently while maintaining company installation and customer service standards
* Must be authorized to work in the United States
