Residential Maintenance Technician
Valley Handy, the maintenance division for Capstone Realty Professionals, is seeking a highly motivated Residential Maintenance Technician to be based out of our central Phoenix office and work in the field. Our team services the entire Phoenix metro area, performing handyman services for both occupied and vacant residential properties. We are looking for a long‑term jack‑of‑all‑trades handyman to join the team.
Responsibilities- Perform routine and scheduled maintenance on multiple properties to ensure safety, comfort, and aesthetics, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and mechanical systems.
- Respond promptly and competently to work‑ordered and scheduled requests for repairs and maintenance, installing fixtures, appliances, and preparing vacant units for new residents.
- Perform daily inspections and quality checks on systems, following checklist‑guided processes and reporting.
- Prepare estimates for requested and needed repair work, identifying parts required.
- Complete jobs within the approved budgets and scheduled timelines.
- Order parts and supplies, coordinate deliveries, and assist with office furniture moving and setup, and training of junior staff.
- Communicate clearly, concisely, and courteously with the team and clients.
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Two (2) years of experience in residential construction/maintenance/repair; an educational or trade certificate in a related field may substitute for experience.
- Experience painting residential interior property; basic understanding of electrical, plumbing or HVAC systems.
- Valid, clean driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Strong mechanical aptitude, well‑rounded hands‑on mechanical skills.
- Excellent customer‑service skills, communication, adaptation, problem‑solving, project management, analytic skills.
- Ability to lift up to 100 lbs independently.

Work Hours:
Monday through Friday 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
