Body Repair Technician

Knight Transportation is Hiring!

We need a Body and Repair Technician to join our team in Phoenix, AZ.

Experience with diesel equipment preferred but not required. If you are hardworking and ready to make a difference, we want to hear from you!

Location:

5601 W Buckeye Rd. Phoenix, AZ 85043

Pay: $21 - $29

Shift: Monday - Friday, 7:00 am - 4:30 pm

Requirements

* 1+ Years of Body Repair Experience or comparable education

* Valid Drivers License

* Comprehensive background check

* Pre-Employment Hair Drug Screen (Marijuana is a disqualification of employment)

Additional Qualifications:

* High School or equivalent

* Experience in fiberglass repair, paint/paint refinishing, plastics, and panel replacement preferred.

* Knowledge of OSHA, DOT, and CSA Regulations

* Experience with on-the-job training

* Diploma in vehicle maintenance from vocational or trade school a plus

* Possess customer service & computer skills

* Ability to read & understand repair manuals

* Ability to multitask & work as a team

* Must possess the tools required to accomplish the essential job results required

Mechanic Responsibilities:

* Perform bodywork repair with minimum supervision

* Perform troubleshooting on minor problems

* Ensure proper care of company tools/equipment

* Maintain a clean and safe work environment

* Maintain a positive & proactive work environment
