Job Summary
Brice Equipment, LLC is seeking an Industrial Program Services General Foreman to provide front‑line leadership and supervision to field crews engaged in conveyor belt installations, rubber repair, and related process maintenance activities for mining, oil & gas, and heavy industrial clients. The General Foreman ensures work is executed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company standards and client expectations, supporting the Industrial Program Services Superintendent by coordinating daily work, mentoring tradespeople, and maintaining a focus on quality, productivity, and safety.
EssentialFunctions
- Supervise and coordinate crews performing conveyor belt installation, splicing, rubber lining, and repair services.
- Ensure work follows project plans, safety requirements, and client specifications.
- Assign daily tasks, monitor progress, and provide technical guidance to crew members.
- Support the Superintendent in implementing schedules, managing resources, and meeting project deadlines.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and materials in proper working condition to minimize downtime.
- Enforce compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
- Mentor and train team members in safe work practices, technical skills, and company procedures.
- Assist with troubleshooting and resolving issues related to conveyor belt systems and process maintenance.
- Report on daily progress, workforce performance, and job site conditions to the Industrial Program Superintendent.
- Promote teamwork, professionalism, and a positive safety culture on all job sites.
- Seek and participate in development and training opportunities.
- Perform other duties as assigned or directed.
This position may supervise field maintenance staff with the direction and support of the Industrial Program Superintendent.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities- Advanced knowledge of the industrial, mining, and oil & gas construction industries with ability to read and interpret contracts, proposals, and related documents.
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to interact with customers and team members professionally.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build effective team relationships.
- Ability to explain complex industrial systems in clear terms and provide direct instruction to crews.
- Analytical approach to diagnosing issues and recommending solutions.
- Computer proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
- Adaptability to evolving technologies, customer needs, and market demands.
- Business development skills to identify, pursue, and close new opportunities.
- Effective relationships with cross‑functional teams, vendors, and customers.
- Strong technical knowledge of conveyor systems, belt splicing, rubber repair, and associated maintenance practices.
- Proven ability to lead crews, manage daily operations, and deliver high‑quality work safely and efficiently.

- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience, focusing on conveyor belt systems, rubber repair, or process maintenance.
- Relevant trade certification or equivalent industry experience preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of supervisory and/or lead hand experience in mining, oil & gas, or heavy industrial environments.
- Valid state driver's license and compliance with the company's Driving Policy.
- Pass drug, driving, and background screening.
