Facilities Maintenance Technician – Phoenix or Show Low (AZ)

NBAZ is looking for a Facilities Maintenance Technician to join Arizona’s #1 Community Bank. Candidates based in Phoenix will need to travel to the Northern Region a few days each month, with overnight stays. We are seeking qualified candidates for either our Biltmore Corporate Office in Phoenix or at our Show Low location.

Essential Functions
  • Assist Property Manager and Facilities Manager as needed including building inspections, procuring bids, managing vendors, building operations, and projects.
  • Maintain building systems including interior/exterior lighting, HVAC, thermostats, life safety and building security.
  • Meet with contractors as necessary, monitor work of contractors and all subcontracted work.
  • Meet regularly with priority vendors like Landscaping and Janitorial. Check contract janitorial and landscape work – notify supervisor of any problems.
  • Monitor utility usage and be responsible for building energy management (including but not limited to) time locks and preventive maintenance.
  • Check chemical treatment systems for Boilers and Chillers.
  • Repair mechanical equipment as directed.
  • Repair and install new locks, prepare all necessary keys and provide keys to main office.
  • Patrol building exteriors for garbage, sweep lots and walks as needed.
  • Assist in roof maintenance repair work as needed.
  • Maintain an inventory list of equipment and assets assigned to building/property/department.
  • Errands as required, including picking up supplies at various vendors as required.
  • Moves equipment, tools, or supplies between properties as required.
  • Miscellaneous trouble shooting and problem solving.
  • Majority of work will be performed inside company branches.
  • Hands‑on training provided for the responsibilities outlined above.
  • Other duties as necessary.
Qualifications

Requires a High School degree or equivalent, and 1+ years of maintenance work, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, or other directly related experience.

  • Must have a current driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • Working knowledge of operation for electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, locks and keys, drive‑up equipment, vault doors, time locks, and bank security equipment.
  • Must have strong organizational skills, a high level of accuracy, and the ability to perform well under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Must have excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
  • The ability to prioritize a heavy volume of small unrelated requests from a variety of sources.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish languages is preferred.
Hours

Monday – Friday: 8:00 A.M. – 5:00 P.M., 40 hrs./wk.
