A Van Installer at Reading Truck works under the direction of the Shop Supervisor to complete the installation of specialty truck equipment such as service utility bodies, stake bodies, dump bodies, hitches, and other commercial truck accessories.

• Installs ladder racks, mud flaps
• Installs back-up cameras
• Installation of locking mechanisms
• Installation of strobe lighting

• 2+ years of welding skills (metal and aluminum)
• 2+ years of electrical wiring
• Ability to build schematics
• Complex Hydraulics knowledge and experience (a plus)
• Independent ability to troubleshoot
• Ability to operate power hand tools (and have basic tools)
